|Recommended: YesFirst month review — It’s a wonderful place and it’s relatively quiet when he trucks on 42 don’t use their engine brakes, Parking right in front of your building if you have multiple cars can be tough, but you normally get the same spot, the grounds are pretty clean except for a large build of of leaves and trash by the mailboxes, the construction is pretty good minus the little obvious things like superglued back down portions of vinyl flooring or trim that’s not quite seated right, the people in the office are awesome and will get back to you in a quick fashion
|Recommended: YesCharsey office staff ALL maintenance staff — Charcey in the office has gone above and beyond being helpful before and after my move in. She is a real sweetheart. If you have any questions, she has an answer. The entire maintenance staff has come next day to fix two problems I had with plumbing in my apartment. They are polite, knowledgeable and fixed the problems Overall I am very happy so far at Waters Edge.
|Recommended: YesWonderful Initially, Frustrating When Things Occur, Would Be Better with COMMUNICATION and SENSE OF URGENCY for your RESIDENTS — Waters Edge has been wonderful since I moved in, however as soon as I had issues without response or resolution they changed their tune. They changed their portal for the 3rd time since October and no communication about how to pay rent it’s the 5th and no communication about the maintenance ticket I entered for my apartment being covered in ants says it was completed but no one entered my apartment I work from home . I went to the office to address these issues as no one picked up their phone and I called multiple times, and I emailed. I was addressing my concerns and was continually interrupted. I asked the front office staff to not interrupt me as I was finishing communicating my concerns and was told I was being confrontational. I am confronting my concerns, absolutely. If all they got from my conversation was that I was ‘confrontational’ instead of ‘communicating my concerns’ then that is an issue. Have a heart and some compassion. If rent is late in this economy, many of us cannot come back from that. So my concerns were valid. Telling us that you came up with a plan the day of to have us all send in money orders for the rent and that we will be free of late fees does not ease our minds if not told in advance. Hopefully you hear this and understand that you have a community of residents who are people just like you.
